Har-man-ies are a vocal troupe exploring the enjoyment and comradery of singing together as a group while expanding and improving their vocal ability.

While Har-man-ies are on their journey they will be fundraising for Movember and Promoting Men’s Health.

WHAT ARE THE AIMS?

After recruiting a core of 7 members, the troupe have been working on an entertaining set list to rehearse over the following months.

The troupe may engage a professional vocal coach which could be partly funded through fundraising.

The group will be utilising an SA Live Music Club band, for live performances.

The troupe aims to raise funds for Movember by selling tickets to planned events late in 2026 and beyond

The scope of these events to be gauged on the troupe’s progress.

OUTLINE

The troupe are seeking up to 12 members.

Rehearsals and coaching will be scheduled to suit all members

It is expected that the troupe or part of the troupe will participate in practice performances throughout the year in preparation for major events (via the clubs Saturday sessions and or Club Cool)

The major event, potentially November (Movember 2026) Is hoping to raise $4000 for Movember.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?

To participate, you must be or become, a financial club member, will have a minimum of basic vocal ability and a desire to practice and improve.

You will be willing to participate in fundraising for the club and The Movember charity organisation.

You would be required to practice privately and attend regular group rehearsals.

GOALS

Goals are continued vocal improvement, individually and as a group, raising funds for and creating an awareness of Men’s Health through and for Movember.

SUMMARY

While some expenses for coaching and rehearsal space may be covered through fundraising, all members will be required to share costs as they plan and utilise vendor services.

The troupe will decide as a group under the SA Live Music Club banner, their direction, material and performances in negotiation with a SA Live Music Club house band.
