Introducing Adelaide’s newest Surf and Rock Instrumental band –

The Jetty Boys are three seasoned Musos with a passion for Surf and Instrumental Music.
They will take you on a reverb drenched, drum pounding journey across the years as they deliver some of the most enduring Surf and guitar-based instrumentals tunes ever recorded.
Their music influences start with the Surf Music movement in the early 1960’s with bands such as The Safaris, The Ventures & Dick Dale & His Deltones to name but a few. Their repertoire now includes memorable works by artists such as The Shadows, Australia’s very own The Atlantics and the inimitable Los Straitjackets from the U.S.A.
The Jetty Boys set lists and stage craft are all about entertainment & audience connection. Playing Classic Surf tunes is always fun, but these are deftly mixed with some wind-swept Spaghetti Western tunes, 60’s TV Spy Themes with an added dash of Pulp Fiction cool. But that’s not all…they also slip in the occasional surprise numbers with a twist; think Friday on My Mind, the Batman Theme and Game of Thrones to make exciting listening.
They love playing live and the set lists and volume are tailored to suit the venue and occasion. They can play smooth and low key, full on or a combination of both. Song list available on request.
The Jetty Boys are: Greg Palmer (Bass Guitar), Rob Green (Drums), and Michael Shade (Lead Guitar).
Nobody does it quite like The Jetty Boys!

Playing the modern classics acoustically

Llama is a 4 Piece band – and we love doing 70s and 80 covers plus.
We have Pauline as our lead singer – also playing a range of instruments.
Phil is shredding out those lead guitar licks.
Pete is rocking out the bass, and Tony is cooking some sweet Beats on the drums.
FAQ
Why Llama? – in our first gig we grabbed a pic of some Llamas standing around and looking like they were an album cover – and it just stuck.
Who decided on the name? – as most of us had been in garage-bands that agonised for weeks trying to find a name, we didn’t want to spend time on this – we had a 5 minute brainstorming session…- and the rest might be history.
What’s an EWI? – it’s a synthesizer that instead of a keyboard uses keys like a sax/flute/recorder – or as one heckler put it – it’s a $2000 kazoo.

Rocking classics

We were thrown together at a Weekend Warriors round back in June 2018 and have retained our original name “Rock Solid”.
Swapped out our Drummer and dropped the Keys to settle on a “Rock Solid” four piece.
We are all Rev Heads and love Fast Cars, Loud Bikes, High Heels and playing Rock Music. (OK, maybe it’s just Jane that likes High Heels!)
We take our song choices seriously and it has taken us 5 years to get 40 songs together!
Our band motto is “If it ain’t fun we ain’t gunna come” and this sentiment will continue to keep us together for many years to come.
Band Members
- Jane Brown – Lead Vocals and Bass
- Richard Bailey – Lead Guitarist and Vocals
- Danny Massacci – Rythm Guitarise and Vocals
- Tony Musolino – Drums and Vocals
