Part band incubator, part muso/singer/band-matching social club, the Club’s goal is to help and support people into playing live music.
House Band EOI

From time to time the Club has vacancies for bands at regular events that generally either a band has to drop out, or can’t be filled otherwise due to absences within bands, illness, holidays, etc.
Before we head to the new year 2024, the Club would like to start forming a band of members to be on-call to be able to fill a spot or support a solo member to be a backing band.
This is not intended to be a Super Band or anything, but there is some expectation of playing ability, readiness to adapt to song choices, friendliness to others, and looking to have fun.
To be considered, you would need to be generally available for any and all of the regular Club events throughout the whole year, and by having 2 of instruments this should provide alternate options should you be unavailable at a particular time.
From there, they would meet on a regular basis to practice and develop a set list of their own, plus cover a few of well known songs eg. 3 chord types. This would be up to the band as to rehearsal, songs, etc. However, they would need to nominate a representative to liaise with the EMU.
The house band would get to play at Club events in their own right from time to time eg. Saturday Sessions and Club Cool.
To be considered, you would need to be generally available for any and all of the regular Club events throughout the whole year, and by having 2 of instruments this should provide alternate options should you be unavailable at a particular time.
Register your interest to be part of house band to play and support events from time to time eg. when not enough registrations, or someone solo would like backing band.
