Scary indeed =
Doug
a solid quality stand, nothing el cheapo.
like Rode or Berringer but venues eg Gov etc only use Shure SM58=E2=80=99s=
as industry standard. Some models have switched which are a pain for =
both you and the sound tech so do not buy. Mic stand I would get a spare =
clip for it to sit in, just in case it breaks, but are available in most =
stores anyway, and perhaps though a spare mesh dome so you can keep swap =
out and keep a clean one, but up to you.
BillyHyde or Derringers, or go online to reputable store in Australia, =
but that may incur delivery cost and delay for Xmas =
shipping.
vocal mics in the van so if you are just wanting something for band =
practice the berringers will be fine (but would still suggest shure =
mic), and use the venues or ours for club gigs, if dollars is a =
concern.
