SA Live Music Club Newsletter – April 2023

2023

April =
Newsletter

Hello =
everyone

Mad March has been and gone, footy has kicked off, and =
nearly Easter so the Christmas Trees will be on sale soon enough once =
you’ve all finished off the Easter Eggs and Hot Cross Buns.

Already Club Cool and Saturday Sessions have gone for =
February and March, with Club Cool on 16th April featuring Six In The =
City, Loading Zone, and Stonehenge. The upcoming Saturday Sessions has a =
number of bands registered now so we’ll open up the registrations for =
May gigs for both Club Cool and Saturday Sessions.

The Gov have advised us that the Saturday Sessions will be =
back in the Front Bar from now on as they are dismantling the Gallery =
stage to open up the dining area once again. In addition the Club will =
be looking to doing the sound for Saturday Sessions as Richard Tonkin, =
who has kindly been very attentive over the years, is relinquishing =
doing sound for the foreseeable future. This means we need members with =
sound experience to help out down the track.

We are planning for a Random Bands within the next quarter, =
so watch this space ie. details to come.

The calendar below has been updated for you to ponder with =
your band to the view of registering.

Registrations for couple of events are open as mentioned =
below, so please feel free to get your band put forward.

Please, please, please, support your club by =
attending events we have organised as they are for you!

Re: =
Presidents Message to members

The email has drawn feedback from a number of members with =
reference to the Saturday Sessions in particular.

It is pleasing to have a number of bands register for the =
next event, which gives the Committee a lot of confidence going =
forward.

All the feedback is worthwhile with both ideas, comments, =
support, and criticism. This is being discussed with the Committee over =
the next few weeks to the view of what the Club offers to fulfil its =
aims. If you wish to add anything please feel free to contact the =
Secretary via info@salivemusic.club

Please, please, please, support your Club by =
attending events and being involved!

Stage Craft

Thanks to Rob Rahaley, he has received a good response from =
