Wundenberg’s Recording Studios stands as a distinguished, multi-award-winning recording complex nestled in the heart of Adelaide, South Australia. Honored with the coveted title of ‘Best Studio’ at the esteemed South Australian Music Awards in 2019, 2021, and 2022, our two-studio setup represents the pinnacle of excellence in audio production.

Tucked away within the historic confines of Thebarton Incinerator, a cherished heritage-listed landmark, our studios inhabit a space infused with a rich architectural legacy. Designed by the renowned American architect Walter Burley Griffin in the 1930s, the building’s conversion into a state-of-the-art recording facility pays homage to its storied past. Notably, Griffin’s legacy extends to his iconic contributions to the planning and design of Canberra, Australia’s capital city.

The robust construction of the incinerator, characterised by its thick brick walls and lofty internal ceilings, has bestowed upon our studios an acoustically pristine environment, fostering optimal recording conditions for artists and musicians alike.

While our primary focus remains on facilitating world-class recording experiences, we also offer six dedicated rehearsal rooms, providing a haven for artists to fine-tune their craft and prepare for upcoming projects.

Conveniently situated within a leisurely stroll from a vibrant array of amenities, including bakeries, cafes, pubs, bars, and supermarkets, Wundenberg’s Recording Studios ensures both practicality and inspiration are always within reach for our clientele.
